Hi, I'm Sierra Barnes!

’m a natural light lifestyle photographer based in Wilmington, NC, specializing in maternity, family, and newborn photography. I’ve had the privilege of calling this beautiful beach town home since moving here for college in 2009.

My husband, Alan, and our two kiddos live just minutes from Wrightsville Beach. We truly embrace coastal living and spend as much time as possible out on the water—so it’s no surprise that the beach is my favorite location for sessions.

Sierra Barnes Photography was founded in 2014, and over the past 12+ years it has been my joy to capture families in some of my favorite coastal locations. I would love the opportunity to meet you and capture your family in a way that feels natural, joyful, and timeless.
